Nairobi, Kenya
25-27 February 2019
The TEEB for Agriculture & Food Global Symposium 2019 took place from 25-27 February 2019 at UN Environment headquarters in Nairobi, bringing together nearly 100 participants from 23 countries, all directly and indirectly involved in applying the TEEBAgriFood Evaluation Framework to assess the impacts of diverse “eco-agri-food systems” and policy interventions in different country contexts. The event provided an opportunity to share experiences and lessons learned, building on case studies being presented from Brazil, China, Colombia, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Senegal, Tanzania and Thailand.
The event was convened by UN Environment Programme (UNEP) with support from the European Union, the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMU), and the Global Alliance for the Future of Food.
