The first national workshop brought together 8 national stakeholders to discuss and refine the policy scope of the project, strengthen key partnerships and agree on a workplan with national and international partners and collaborators.
Participants identified three components for which the project can provide additional added value to the already IKI funded work on rice:
- Bringing in the agri-business component
- Focus on additional study regions
- Integrate TEEB analysis and findings into extension services
