Camille Thoumyre joined TEEB in September 2020. As a programme consultant, she is supporting the coordination of the UN Task Force for the UN Food Systems Summit.
She holds an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a BA in Liberal Arts (Sociology and International Relations) from the University of Exeter, UK. Throughout her studies, Camille has conducted several research projects on topics such as biodiversity conservation, climate change resilience, marine water pollution policy, and environmental behaviour. She has previously worked for various NGOs focusing on community development, positive social and environmental change, fair agricultural trade, and women’s empowerment through entrepreneurship. Camille has lived, studied and worked in seven different countries. In her free time, she enjoys climbing, hiking, and camping.
