Anita Koralewicz joined TEEB in June 2021. As a Programme Support Intern she is collaborating with the WWF to support the management of Action Track 3 in the Food Systems Summit on ‘Nature-positive food production’. She is currently working remotely from Copenhagen.
Anita holds a MSc in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Global Resource Systems from the University of British Columbia. Her research interests include climate change adaptation, food systems transformation and ecological economics. Her MSc dissertation examined the impact of tree-retention policies on cocoa agroforestry in Ekiti State, Nigeria. Previously, she has worked with Canadian provincial and federal governments on agricultural climate adaptation programming as well as on the governance and communications of Canada’s climate plan. She is passionate about everything food and enjoys cooking great meals with friends, gardening and climbing.
